R est un langage de programmation dédié à l’analyse des données. Les principaux avantages à utiliser R sont le fait qu’il soit complètement gratuit, que son code source soit modifiable et l’accès à une importante communauté qui permet de trouver une solution à pratiquement tout problème statistique que l’on peut rencontrer.
Vous aimeriez utiliser R pour analyser des données, mais dès que vous ouvrez la fenêtre de la console R vous ne savez pas quoi faire et par où commencer? Le bureau de consultation en statistique vous invite à un atelier d’introduction à R lundi le 19 octobre de 12h30 à 14h30 sur zoom.
Cet atelier vous permettra de faire vos premiers pas avec R et de pouvoir poursuivre votre apprentissage de façon autonome par la suite. L’atelier sera présenté par Serge Vicente, chercheur postdoctoral à l’Université McGill et statisticien consultant au BCS.

This workshop will allow you to take your first steps with R, so that you can become autonomous in your future learning process. The workshop is presented by Serge Vicente, postdoctoral fellow at McGill University and consultant in statistics at the office of statistical consulting.
